Iran: FM spokesman dismisses the Washington Post report on dispatch of fighters to Syria

Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbass Araqchi on Wednesday refuted the Washington Post for alleged dispatch of fighters to Syria.

Araqchi said publishing such news concurrent with Tehran Conference on Syria aims to overshadow Iranˈs peace efforts in Syria.

He said that the Washington Post resorted to such allegation to justify and cover up the decision made by European Union to lift ban on dispatch of arms to the Syrian terrorists.
