Madeleine McCann: Just another day

The parents of missing girl Madeleine McCann have said they will not be marking their daughter's fifth birthday. Kate and Gerry McCann said they still believe their daughter is alive, despite her having been missing for more than a year.

Family spokesman Clarence Mitchell said of the birthday: "Gerry will be at work and Kate will be at or around home. Sadly, for them it is just another day without Madeleine."

You know what gets me? Those two bastards have been so eager to mark every "milestone" it's as though they have a fetish about "milestones". Yet when it comes to the daughter they failed, they describe a 5th birthday as just another day without Madeleine.

Birthday - the day Madeleine was born.

No worries - it's just another day to Kate and Gerry.

Another Day, another few thousand dollars added to the find Madeleine fund that helped pay their mortgage on the luxury house they wont leave, even to take part in a vital reconstruction that may help solve their daughter's disappearance.

It's Madeleine's day - not theirs. Again, it's all about England's untouchable Sacred Cows - Kate and Gerry McCann.

That's what it has been about right from the moment the phones started ringing on May 3 2007.
