Guatemala: Guatemala City dependent on volunteer fire brigade

With an average of six murders a day, Guatemala City is one of the world's most violent cities.But with underfunded police and medical-response teams, the city's 2000 member strong volunteer fire brigade is often the first to be called, and the first on scene after shootings, stabbings and other emergencies.Al Jazeera's David Mercer reports from there.
