Iran: 'Israel too little to threaten Iran'

Tehran, April 18, IRNA – The Zionist regime is incapable of attacking Iran and is too little to threaten Iran, Army Commander Major General Ataollah Salehi said on Thursday.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the ceremony commemorating Army Day, he said that currently the army is fully prepared to counter any adventure by the enemies by an overwhelming counterattack.

The Zionist regime's threats should not be taken serious, he said, noting that dogs are not expected to do anything but barking.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran is the best friend for regional states and our message is message of peace and friendship," he said.

The message of Army's parade today for the world is peace and friendship, he said, adding that Iran will never have a threatening message.

Stating that new weapons will never bring military preparedness and the US will never dare to undertake aggression against Iran.
