Source: IRNAOfficials and members of domestic and foreign media started a meeting here Saturday to discuss establishment of a union for the Islamic world’s press.
The meeting was kicked off in presence of Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini and was attended by officials from 38 Muslim countries as well as representatives of the Iranian press and news agencies.
Participants in the meeting are to discuss a prepared draft document on establishment of the union of the Islamic world’s press and would also prepare a final statement for the meeting.
