Iraq: Hussein's former palace completely renovated, ready to host the Arab League summit

Saddam Hussein's former palace in Baghdad has been completely renovated, ready to host the Arab League summit in May.

The palace, which has a history as tumultuous as the country's, has been given a $400m makeover.

Many hope the gleaming centrepiece will show that Iraq too, has been restored to its former glory.

Al Jazeera's Jane Arraf reports from the Iraqi capital.
