France: Living in limbo - the plight of French Roma

Thousands of Roma people in France are living under the constant threat of eviction after Nicolas Sarkozy, the French president, said he would dismantle 300 of their camps by the end of October.

Sarkozy has outlined a number of controversial measures against Roma and other immigrant communities, including revoking their citizenship.
