Kosovo: North Kosovo’s integration doomed to fail - Serbian minister

FOCUS Information Agency - Serbian Ministry for Kosovo Secretary of State Oliver Ivanovic said the plan on North Kosovo’s integration to the Kosovo institutions will fail because it is not supported by Serbs and Serbian government, Serbian Glas Javnosti newspaper writes.

According to him there is no doubt the special EU Representative in Kosovo Peter Fate and his office are the only creators of this plan; it suits to him and Kosovo Albanians because they both have problems-there is nothing to show to the community, i.e. what they have done recently.

Ivanovic claims the plan aims to divert the attention from the real problems of Kosovo Albanians and EULEX, including the huge unemployment, social tension and the weak government.

“Serbia will back its institutions, which have been working since 1999. No new institutions’ will be established and the existing ones will continue to be supported by Serbia,” Oliver Ivanovic said.
