Turkey: Ban on political party sparks anger among minority Kurds (video report)

The Kurdish Democratic Society Party (DTP) has been shut down by Turkey's constitutional court follwing claims that the party had ties to the armed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).

The court ruling has sparked anger among the country's minority Kurds, and provoked violent protests.

Kurds say that the government's move to outlaw both the PKK and the DTP is proof that they are being marginalised.

Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reports from the southeastern town of Diyarbakir.
