Wildlife Conservation: Japan continues to slaughter dolphins

After much debate, the Tokyo Film Festival has decided to screen The Cove, a controversial documentary about the annual dophin hunt in the Japanese town of Taiji.

The film-makers have used hidden cameras and mini-helicopters to get close-up footage of the hunt.

The documentary has put pressure on residents and fishermen in Taiji.

But as Al Jazeera's Harry Fawcett witnesses upon his visit to the town, the slaughter continues.
