Child Abduction: A stolen childhood

Its not a secret that some Russian girls want marry a foreigner. They dream of a fairytale life abroad. In search of a husband, they visit special websites, go abroad on holidays or even meet their overseas princes in the streets of Russian towns.

What they dont anticipate are the problems that can arise when a child comes along. The stories of Irina Belenkaya, Rimma Sallonen and other Russian women speak for themselves.

Why do so many parents seem to believe that abduction is the only way to get back together with their sons and daughters? Can the law always protect the child in those circumstances?
