Montenegro: Montenegro has achieved “impressive results” on its way to the EU membership

Montenegro has achieved “impressive results” on its way to the EU membership, said head of the European Commission delegation in Podgorica Leopold Maurer, Serbian B92 radio station informed.

Maurer says he is impressed by the progress in visa liberalization, but adds there is still work to do in this area.

“The member states will have to decide in the European Parliament whether Montenegro has met all standards and then it stands fair chances for visa regime liberalization as of the beginning of the next year,” said Maurer.
