Bilateral Relations: Iran, Afghanistan to boost cooperation in anti-terrorism, anti-narcotics sectors

IRNA reports First Vice-President of Iran Parviz Davoudi, currently in Kabul on an official day-long visit, met Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Thursday discussing major bilateral, regional and international developments.

The two exchanged views on Terhan-Kabul relations and their cooperation in the field of campaigning against terrorism and narcotics.

Karzai praised Iran’s role in reconstructing Afghanistan and establishing security in the war-torn country.

Iran has so far spent 300 million dollars for Afghanistan’s development projects in areas including road cpoonstruction, electricity, education, health and infrastructural services.
