Sri Lanka: LTTE bomb kills one, injures 4 children

The Sri Lankan Dept of Defence reports that the LTTE have carried out a bomb attack targeting innocent civilians in the Batticaloa town this morning (Jan 21). According to the defence sources in the area, the bomb was fixed on push bicycle parked in front a boutique near the police station and exploded using a remote controlling device.

A person has been killed 12 others have suffered injuries in the explosion. There are 4 schoolchildren among the injured, the sources said.
