International Relations: Bush meets Slovenian President to discuss Kosovo and other issues

President George W. Bush has met with Slovenian President Danilo Tuerk, in Brdo, around 30 km northwest of Ljubljana, to discuss Kosovo and other international issues.

A statement issued by Tuerk's office said the meeting would be dedicated to international issues, including the situation in Kosovo, the Middle East peace process and developments in the Caucasus.

Climate change and the functioning of international organizations will also be discussed, as will U.S.-Slovenian relations, said the statement.

The Bush-Tuerk meeting will be followed by Bush's talks with Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa.
