An early Goodnight from Sydney

I wont be making any posts today, so I thought I would leave you with a sample of my experimental photography.

This is a view of my kitchen sink, taken at night, without lights, and shot from a position just above the tap.

I thought long and hard to find a suitable title for this highly expressive piece, finally deciding upon, "Water going down the plug-hole."

As you can see it is deeply symbolic of all the wrongs society has bought upon itself. I haven't quite figured out how it expresses such a statement, but I bet my bottom dollar someone will tell me!

Last night I had the strangest dream. I was watching an American chat show hosted by Danny DeVito, (other blokes dream about Paris Hilton - I get Danny!). I have no idea who his guest was, but he had a golden retriever with him. The dog moved towards the camera, sat down - and started doing Tommy Cooper impersonations.

For the life of me I have no idea why I should have such a dream, but the bloody dog sat there moving his shoulders up and down like Tommy, and doing Tommy's hand gestures with his paws.

I think all this must be getting to me, so I will go now -

Just like that!

PS: Oh I know what the photo represents. Gerry's plans going down the gurgler.

PPS: Talking about Tommy Cooper, that reminds me of an incident back in my wilder days, when I walked out of a hotel in Tangiers, wearing a fez hat, a red evening dress and high heel shoes. It's not what you may think!
