Last night I had a comments from a reader who likes house and one from a lady who likes boats. This photo combines the two.
The house with the steep flights of steps is in Mosman, one of our richer suburbs. The photo was taken on a miserable, grey autumn day from across the bay at a place called Curlew Camp.
Curlew Camp itself is an interesting place - especially for art lovers. It is the spot where late 19th century Australian artists such as Tom Roberts and Arthur Streeton set up camp. Many of their paintings were set around this area. The camp itself was quite elaborate and even included a special tent with a billiards table.
