International Development: NGO to build 700 houses in Uganda for rural poor

The Daily Monitor reports African Christian In Development (ACID) is to construct 700 houses for the rural people in Uganda. With sponsorship from United States based donors; the NGO has budgeted for $2,500 for each house in the districts of Mukono, Masaka, Ntungamo and Kiboga.

Speaking during the 13th delegates conference and organisation budget day at Colline Hotel Mukono, ACID Chief Director, Mr Aaron Siribaleka, said the arrangement is targeting vulnerable people countrywide to allow their beneficiaries enjoy improved housing facilities.
