Bilateral Relations: Chinese legislator arrives in Brazil

China's top legislator Wu Bangguo, has arrived in Brazilian capital of Brasilia for an official goodwill visit.

During his stay in Brazil, Wu, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National Peoples Congress, is expected to meet with Brazilian government and parliament leaders to exchange views on bilateral ties and issues of common concern.

In a written speech he said, "I hope my visit will help deepen China-Brazil friendship, expand consensus and promote the long-term, stable and continuous development of China-Brazil strategic partnership."

Wu will also be visiting Uruguay and Chile
