International Development: Tsunami survivors tell Oxfam to get stuffed

Knowing how Oxfam operates, this comes as no surprise.

Oxfam is under fire from survivors of the tsunami in Banda Aceh, who claim the agency has not yet started construction works on homes promised a year ago.AsiaNews, reports that furious tsunami survivors have told Oxfam that they no longer want their help after waiting a year for them to build promised houses.

British-based Oxfam has closed their office overseeing Pasi - and the rest of Aceh Besar and Banda Aceh districts - as they investigate what has gone wrong.

I can tell them what went wrong. Oxfam always has and always will be - bloody useless. I wont touch this organisation with a 10 foot barge-pole.
