Free Trade: Bolivia, Cuba and Venezuela take on US FTAA

Xinhua news agency reports that Bolivian President Evo Morales joined Cuban President Fidel Castro and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in Havana on Friday to endorse a trade alternative to replace the U.S.-backed free market trade pact.

The pact calls for shared trade and cooperation among Latin American countries, rejecting the U.S.backed unsuccessful Free Trade Area of the Americas, or FTAA.
