Goodnight from Sydney

This is my little mate, Charlie The Currawong, (click to enlarge).

Every morning he sits on a tree outside my window watching the world go by. In fact, he sees quite a lot of the world go by as I often turn my head and see him watching me as I sit at the computer. He must be the only currawong that knows how to train small groups and can discuss world affairs. Of course, I am making the mistake of assuming he can read English, which is a mistake I also make when dealing with Australian government departments.

Late afternoon, he is there again, then a little later in the evening he sits on a tree outside my kitchen window watching me wash the dishes. I could scare him off by doing my Dick Cheney impersonation, but I don't have the best attorneys money can buy and I am not a drinker, so I doubt he would be fooled - unlike so many who are easily fooled into believing everything others want them to see.

Wherever you may be - be safe!
