Gas: First Ukraine, now Bulgaria

Russian gas giant Gazprom, is considering doubling gas prices traded to Bulgaria - which gets 97% of its gas from Russia.

Currently Bulgaria pays $120 per 1,000 cube meters of gas and although the contract signed in 1998 has a term until 2010, discussions are expected to take place to review the terms of supply.

Gazprom, say the price change is considered for transited gas only.
