Trade: South Korea and Singapore to forge closer ties

Yonhap News, reports that The Korea International Trade Association, is to hold a business roundtable with the Singapore Business Federation in Singapore, to "discuss mutually recognized agreements to facilitate smoother trade following the implementation of the Korea-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (FTA)".

The FTA involves Singapore abolishing tariffs on all imports from South Korea, while South Korea will drop import duties on 91.6 percent of Singaporean products over the next 10 years.
