Oil: China National Offshore Oil Corporation donates $197,287 to Katrina victims

China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), is donating $197,287 to victims of Hurricane Katrina.

A company announcement said the donation is made up of employee donations with the same amount in the name of the company.

The Chinese government is also offering disaster relief of up to $5 mln along with emergency supplies.
