Advertising: Anti Wal-Mart ad declined by hometown newspaper

The New Standard reports that The Benton County Daily Record, has banned a union-backed organization from placing an anti Wal-Mart ad.

WakeUpWalMart.com, an organization created by the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW), purchased the ad space in Wal-Mart's hometown newspaper last Friday.On Monday it was informed of the decision not run the ad.

The Daily Record told WakeUpWalMart.com that the letter was potentially "defamatory."
