Publishing: Award-winning writer accused of plagiarism

The Mainichi Shimbun reports that Japanese award-winning writer Hajime Shinohara is being accused of plagiarism in her short story "19 Degrees Celsius Lolita," published last month.

According to Menafn.com Shueisha Inc., the publishers of "19 Degrees Celsius Lolita" and Shodensha Inc., which published "Chishiryo Doris," a 1998 cartoon by Maki Kusumoto, are looking into allegations that Shinohara stole Kusumoto's story.
