Human Resources: HIV/AIDS hits workplace productivity in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwean Health and Child Welfare Minister, Dr David Parirenyatwa, has said that AIDS related deaths have drastically reduced the country's workforce. This has led to loss of productivity due to an inexperienced workforce replacing workers whose deaths occurred during their prime years.

He added that "HIV/AIDS results in worry and anxiety, which results in low morale at the workplace and consequently low productivity."

It doesn't have too much of a positive impact on the poor bloody victims or their loved ones either.
