Human Resources: Women march for workplace rights

Around sixty protesters from Campaign for Women's Reproductive Rights, marched peacefully through Melbourne yesterday to support a campaign to improve working women's rights in the workplace.

Campaigners are demanding free 24-hour childcare and employer-funded paid maternity leave.

Back in February, the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union also demanded employer provided childcare along with 12 days paid menstrual leave each year, in addition to the usual four weeks paid leave.
