A quarter of new UK MP's have small business experience

According to the Federation of Small Businesses, 30 of the 124 newly elected MPs have worked for themselves or for their family firm.

As any small business owner will tell you, one of the biggest factors inhibiting development - and therefore job creation - is costly and time consuming over regulation.

If the new MP's give small business owners the same sort of support I am sure they themselves often wished for, then hopefully more time and revenue can be spent on core issues.Sadly however, "hope" doesn't always equal "reality."
