Peru: Peru seeks to shape rural 'middle class'

For centuries Peruvians have used the mountains to carve out workable farmland. The difficult terrain is just one of many challenges farmers face, and many struggle to grow enough food for their families. But a new programme is helping tens of thousands of people work their way out of poverty. Al Jazeera's Mariana Sanchez reports from Cusco on the emerging rural middle class.
