Geneva, Oct 17, IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister and spokesman for the Iranian delegation to the nuclear negotiations Abbass Araqchi said Iran and the 5+1 are in the process of settling their differences.
Araqchi made the remarks here at the end of the Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif press conference.
He noted that the gap between the two parties of the talks was still wide but stressed that both sides were now positioned in a track which would lead to settling the differences.
The diplomat stressed that the Group of 5+1 has accepted the overall framework of Tehran’s new proposal to settle differences but said we should wait for their practical measures.
Asked to comment on the level and form of the next round of Iranˈs talks with the 5+1 due in Geneval on Novemeber 7-8, he said Iranˈs Zarif and the European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton will be present in the talks.
