Beirut, May 4, IRNA – Islamic Republic of
Iran’s First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi met with Secretary
General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah on Thursday at
the end of his two-day visit to Lebanon and before his return to Tehran.
The meeting was held on Thursday. Education minister, power minister, road and urban development minister, communications minister, and IR Iran’s ambassador in Lebanon accompanied Rahimi.
During the meeting talks were held on political situation of the Middle East region and the threats posed by the Zionist regime against the regional countries and nations
Rahimi emphasized IR Iran’s preparedness for helping Lebanon in all fields and standing by Lebanon’s sides under any condition.
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah for his part on his own behalf, the resistance movement, and Lebanese people thanked IR Iran’s leadership, government and nation for their constant support for Lebanon while emphasizing that these humanitarian attempts have caused hardship for Iran.
