Iran: Iran’s Foreign Minister meets with Dutch, UK, Finnish, Czech and Algerian FMs

New York, Sept 23, IRNA – Foreign ministers of the Netherlands, UK, Finland, Czech and Algeria have separately met and held talks with Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi.

They discussed bilateral relations, important regional and international political development, as well as Iran’s relations with Europe and other issues of mutual interest.

The foreign ministerial meetings took place on the sidelines of the 66th UN General Assembly annual meeting in New York.

In his meeting with Dutch foreign minister, Salehi said that Iran and the Netherlands have made progress in preparing suitable grounds for enhancement of bilateral trade and economic ties.

He emphasized that the Dutch government believes in freedom of religions, including Islam and freedom of speech within that country’s legal framework.
