New Delhi, Sept 8, IRNA -- Chairman of hardline faction of Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman here Wednesday strongly condemned the blast outside Delhi High Court, terming perpetrators as 'enemies of humanity'.
'We strongly condemn Delhi blast. It is totally a terrorist attack and those involved are enemies of humanity,' Geelani said in a statement in Srinagar.
He said such type of attacks in any part of the world have no justification.
'These incidents pose a challenge to the world and are aimed at creating a wedge within the society,' Geelani said.
The JKLF chairman also condemned the blast, saying 'it is a sin to even consider the perpetrators of such type of attacks as human beings'.
Meanwhile, the Kashmir Institute of Strategical Studies (KISS) also condemned the blasts in Delhi and Pakistan's Quetta.
'Vested interests on both sides (India, Pakistan) want to deepen the rift between the people and create stumbling blocks in the peace process between the two countries,' KISS said in a statement.
A bomb placed in a briefcase exploded at the Delhi High Court this morning killing around 12 people and injuring at least 80.
