Human rights defender Cllr. Dempster Brown has reported mysterious disappearances of children in broad daylight in several parts of the country.

Cllr.Brown named the commercial district of Red Light in Paynesville and Sinkor as the flashpoints for the disappearances of innocent children.

In the Sinkor 24th Street area, Cllr. Brown reported the kidnapping of three children from their school campus but were rescued by concerned residents.

According to Cllr. Brown, a four-year old child also disappeared mysteriously in the Nezo Community in Paynesville and has not been found.

Mr. Brown also reported other brutal instances in several parts of the country where the suspect was clearly identified but state security allegedly failed to act.

Cllr. Brown told Star Radio, these disappearances were worrisome because they were the same instances that characterized the departure of the Taylor regime.

He believes the UP-led Government has betrayed the social contract entered into with the citizens in exchange for political power.

The Liberian lawyer warned if Government fails to address the wave of arbitrary killings in the country, he would be compelled to issue a writ of maleficent.
