U.S. Politics: Riding with the Freedom Posse to "fight for taxpayers"

Republican U.S. Senate Candidate Don Bates Jr. and the Freedom Posse offer an alternative to the tax and spend policies of liberal bureaucrats in Washington. Out of control spending and a record national debt have forced taxpayers to take action. Americans are standing up all across the nation to support the efforts of the Freedom Posse and candidates like Don Bates Jr. of Indiana who are willing to fight for taxpayers by reducing taxes and the size of government.

The Freedom Posse believes the time is now to bring the career politicians home and return fiscal responsibility to Washington. Congress must end the practice of writing bad checks on an empty Washington bank account. Don Bates Jr. and the Freedom Posse advocate the elimination of earmarks and insider deals, a balanced budget amendment and term limits. Freedom Posse creator Sam Carpenter said, "Washington keeps telling us everything they're doing for us but Americans are scared about what Washington continues to do to us."

The federal government along with entitlement programs and our nation's debt continue to grow while our economy and jobs decline. Business and industry struggle with high taxes and unnecessary regulations and must be given the opportunity to create jobs. To rebuild our economy Congress must be made to put their financial house in order. Creating more government programs through higher taxes and larger deficits will only continue to jeopardize generations of future Americans.

The Freedom Posse was formed to provide citizens the opportunity to support candidates who are not owned by special interest but offer their service to fight for Washington reform. Don Bates Jr. will stand up for freedom and fight for the people of Indiana.
