Afghanistan: Narcotic Nation - kids get drugs to survive starvation

The Russia - NATO Council is meeting in Brussels to discuss how to stop narcotics production in Afghanistan. Moscow considers Afghan drug trafficking a threat to international peace and demands the issue be tackled on a global scale. Afghanistan is the world's top producer of poppies used to make opium, a key ingredient for heroin which claims up to one hundred thousand lives a year.
