"We need a full solution and a complete withdrawal, including Jerusalem, to reach a comprehensive peace deal," said Nabil Abu Rdineh, spokesman for president Mahmoud Abbas.
The Palestinians work to build their statehood in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and East Jerusalem in accordance with international resolutions.
This means that the Palestinian leadership rejects any proposal that calls for a statehood with provisional borders; there will be no Palestinian to give up Jerusalem, Palestine and the future of the people, added Abu Rdineh.
His remarks followed Israeli reports that the U.S. administration was studying an old plan calling for a Palestinian statehood and setting up timetables for resolving all final-status issues, including Jerusalem and the Palestinian refugees. The plan was reportedly drawn up by Israeli president Shimon Peres.
