Greece: Macedonia name must have geographical definition

FOCUS Information Agency - The Greek mediator in the name dispute between Greece and Macedonia Adamandios Vasilakis denied Thursday information spread in media he has rejected Mediator in name dispute Matthew Nimitz’s last package of ideas on name dispute, Vecer informed.

“These statements are not true. We are in critical phase of the negotiation process. It is necessary all of us to be responsible towards the process. Greece has attended constructively talks on the name with proposals, recommendations and notes. We expect other side to do the same so to reach a resolution acceptable for both countries,” he said.

Vasilakis confirmed he informed Nimitz about Greece’s hard position on compromise name with geographical definition for general use.
