Child Trafficking: Yemen foils child trafficking attempt - children to be used as beggars during Ramadan

MENAFN reports Yemeni authorities foiled an attempt to smuggle 20 children into the Kingdom through the Saudi-Yemeni border and arrested five smugglers, Al-Watan reported.

The children were to be used for begging during the month of Ramadan.

Last year, Saudi Arabia repatriated nine Yemeni children who were smuggled illegally through the border.
