Bilateral Relations: Sarkozy to meet Iranian Foreign Minister to discuss nuclear issue

French President Nicolas Sarkozy will meet Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Wednesday to discuss Tehran's nuclear program, a source close to the presidency said on Tuesday.

According to the source, the meeting will be held at the Elyseeat 4:30 p.m. local time (1430 GMT). It will be the first time that Sarkozy has received a high-ranking Iran official in Paris.

Sarkozy is scheduled to discuss Iran with U.S. President Barack Obama, who is due to visit France this weekend for the D-Day commemorations.
