Space: Girl who named Pluto dies aged 90

On March 14, 1930 newspapers that Planet X as it was then known, had been photographed for the first time. An 11 year old British girl with a well connected grandfather, suggested it be named Pluto after the Roman god of the underworld.

Venetia died on April 30 aged 90 The death was confirmed by her son, Patrick.
