Swine Flu: Israel will not be renaming "swine flu"
Despite an attempt by Israel's Deputy health minister Yakov Litzman to have "swine flu" renamed "Mexican Flu" Israel has said it has no intention of giving the flu any new names.
Litzman, a member of an ultra-religious party the name "swine flu" should not be used as it contains the name of the animal banned by Judaism.
This led to complaints by Mexico's ambassador to Israel as well as Israel's envoy to Mexico.
