Middle East: Egypt invites Palestinian groups to resume dialogue

KUNA reports the Egyptian Foreign Ministry announced Tuesday that it invited leaders of Palestinian groups to resume dialogue.

The Egyptian Middle East News Agency (MENA) quoted the spokesman of the ministry Ambassador Husam Zaki as saying in Doha that the main aim of dialogue is to solve major "sensitive" issues like the agenda of the next Palestinian government, the elections system, and security.

He said that solving these issues will impact the Palestinian cause, adding that there were external effects on the Palestinians.

He stressed that Egypt will be patient and will continue supporting the Palestinians.
