In a speech due to be aired at all national televisions on Monday, the president also gave a special instruction to all provincial officials that they should prioritize public service during the campaign period.
"Development tasks, particularly public service, should not be interrupted or halted," Yudhoyono said.
He also called on all government officials to prioritize policies to battle ongoing global financial crisis.
