Iran: afari: MKO's deproscription from UK list to affect bilateral tie

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for European Affairs, Mehdi Safari, said here Wednesday that the terrorist Mujahideen Khalq Organization's (MKO) deproscribtion from the UK terrorist list will have adverse effects on the Tehran-London relations.

Safari further told British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Security, Admiral Lord West, that regarding enormous evidence at hand, the MKO has been involved in countless crimes in Iran and Iraq.

He said British judicial organ and government's reconsidering the move will be a step in line with global campaign against the organized crime.
