Nuclear Issues: Azerbaijan releases Russian goods bound for Iran's Bushehr nuclear plant

A shipment of Russian insulation equipment bound for Iran's Bushehr nuclear plant, has been released by Azerbaijan, where it had been held for a month. Authorities were concerned it might violate UN sanctions.

Its release came after Russia provided information on the shipment earlier this week.

"We received the information from Russia, studied it and then we decided to let it go," foreign ministry spokesman Khazar Ibragim told AFP.
