Burma: Czech government to provide $155,000

The Czech government is providing $155,000 to aid to the people of Myanmar devastated by cyclone Nargis.

Czech news agency CTK quoted Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zuzana Opletalova saying: "The Czech aid will be provided through the International Committee of the Red Cross".

The Czech human rights organization People In Need will provide $31,000 to Myanmar, Marek Stys, head of its humanitarian section, said.
