Bilateral Relations: Poland affirms support for Macedonia's NATO bid

Polish President Lech Kaczynski has said that Poland will continue lobbying for Macedonia's NATO integration. He also urged Macedonia to wrap up name talks with Greece as soon as possible.

Kaczynski made the comment in a meeting with his Macedonian counterpart Branko Crvenkovski in Ohrid, a lakeside resort in southern Macedonia, where he is attending the 15th summit of central European heads of state.

Crvenkovski thanked the Polish president for the support, telling him that Macedonia remains committed to the NATO membership and will remain in the negotiating process with Greece in order to find a solution to the name dispute.
